Effective September 13, 2022, in line with current trends, the lab will be adopting the new estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) equations developed by Inker et al.
These equations were developed to remove race from the equation and will only require the patient’s age and sex. The study can easily be found below of with the PMID: 34554658.
